WHO WE ARE
TreLune Dolci (translates to Three Sweet Moons) is more than a gelato shop; it is an ode to tradition, memory, and a special place. Nestled in Dana Point’s sunlit Lantern District, our gelato is crafted in small batches, carrying with it the whispers of Italy and the salt-kissed air of the California coast.
We are rooted in the philosophy of 'il gelato come una volta'—gelato as it once was. Our gelatiere mastered her craft in Tuscany, where old-world methods transform simple, all-natural ingredients into something transcendent. Every recipe is tested and tasted by her husband, who was born and raised in Italy, to ensure that each flavor is as authentic and velvety as the ones he savored with his Nonno and Nonna on golden summer afternoons.
At TreLune Dolci, gelato is more than just a dessert. It is the echo of a laughter in an Italian piazza, the cool evening breeze by the sea, the tenderness of memory made tangible... it is a story, a 'vacation in a scoop'.

ABOUT US

Each batch is crafted on-site, with flavor profiles that change with the seasons, featuring fresh, locally sourced dairy, fruits, herbs, and more. We invite you to savor a moment, celebrate a memory, and indulge in a scoop that will linger like a story retold.
